How can I retrieve sky store purchases on my new box

It's had my sky q box swapped after issues and I was not warned I would lose all of my recordings. How can I get my purchases from the sky store onto my new box?

If they are not there via recordings > purchases then you can login to the Sky Store app on a mobile or tablet or here and send each one in turn to your box:

Hi @Jodie+Ridgway

As long as your Sky store account is still linked to your Sky ID (which it should be if the only change was a swap of your box) all you need to do is to log in to Skystore on a device like a phone or tablet - choose each movie and select "send to box"

the movies should then appear gradually on your sky Q box under recordings / purchases

Thanks all, I went onto skytore.com and have managed to find them

still gutted I have lost all of my favourite films from standard recordings but at least I can retrieve the purchased ones

It is true that movies recorded on any PVR are subject to loss if the PVR fails!

The expectation that recordings on a PVR will always be available is misguided.

The HDDs in PVRs will eventually fail and when they fail all recordings will be lost.

It should also be remembered content bought on content stores such Sky Store will only be available while the content store has rights to carry that content, and that content can expire from the content store.
