I can't seem to see how to use a credit to watch a movie

Any credit you have needs to be used online.

If the credit is already in your Skystore account - just buy a movie online. If it's a purchase (a buy and keep) you also have the option to send it to your Sky box (you can't do this with a rental )

if you have a voucher - you can redeem it here (bottom left of the online menu after you have logged in)
