UHD purchase is HD?

Hi.

I purchased Avatar the way of water from the sky Utra HD menu.

After purcahse and download, the film is in HD.

Should it be in the UHD format, from where I purcahsed it?

edit : correction to my typing below - I've just had a look on my Sky Q and I can't even see Avatar Way of the water in UHD. Are you sure you saw the option ? I can only see an offer to buy it in HD

Even if you started off choosing a movie from the UHD movie section - once you click on the image of the movie you should then see a vertical menu with a choice of formats.

Do you know if you chose UHD from that menu or might you have selected HD.

If you are free to do so in 12 minutes (they open at 11am) - try a livechat with the Skystore team and see if they can fix this for you ?

Hi, in the menu bar on the left of the screen select UTRA HD. The film is listed there.

I see it to rent in UHD @chann857 but not to buy and keep.

Is yours a rental ? When you mentioned "purchase" I guessed you meant buy and keep.

Do you see a buy and keep in UHD ? I can't see that.

Hi. It is under the ULTRA HD menu. Surely you do not sell HD films under a UHD menu selection. If so that is very misleadingly, and I have been conned.

No, I thought I was communicating with Sky.

I went to Sky and asked for help. Assumed that Sky would help.

The system (sort of ) pushes people toward the forum to get initial help - but for an actual Sky response - the Skystore live chat is usually the best option
