If it helps anyone reading this to know - the code has to be redeemed at a Tesco store

The bar code is one that constantly charges on your phone screen rather than a stable image. I was literally outside a Tesco when I saw your post @Yoghurt

I clicked in the Giveaway section - received an email and the code.

I didn't expect the Tesco scanner to read it - but it did and it worked fine. (At the counter rather than the self checkout)

Hi,

when I've gone onto the app to claim the Cadburys chocolate bar it's showing an error message saying unavailable url.

please can you help I have downloaded the Casper film.

There is no fix for that @Rachaelh123 but you could email the apps team to let them know that you are also seeing that error - apps@sky.uk

Hi, every time I attempt to get a code for the chocolate bar all I see is:

"Sorry we've used all our codes today. Don't worry, we update codes everyday so come back tomorrow to try again."

I have attempted to get a code multiple times and at different times of the day but the same message pops up.

Anyone have any ideas on what time (GMT) the codes get regenerated so that I can pick on up?

I've looked through the terms of the offer which says there are 100,000 codes to be distributed over 22 days (until the end of this month) - so around 4,500 a day if they are issued equally - but of course they may not have been issued equally over days

If there is a time the offer is refreshed- I haven't found it - but the obvious times to try for me would be after midnight / after 8.00am / after noon perhaps

but it could be much more random than that.

I have been trying for over a week. It's not fair being a sky vip customer to dangle a sweet but not actually giving it. I'll be waiting for my code and do hope you not just fooling people

Sky has something like fifteen million subscribers to its various services, almost all of whom are 'VIPs'. As @mike+simmonds indicates, under five thousand codes per day or 100,000 total doesn't go far: considerably less than 1% of the subscriber base could benefit from this offer.

I tried for several days, then got lucky yesterday. That being said, had a nightmare in Tesco. First checkout operator could not get code to work. A supervisor took me to another till, and again code was not accepted. By the time 2 Tesco colleagues tried repeatedly to get code to work my 20 minutes to use had expired. However they very kindly decided to give me my bar of chocolate.
