Sky Credit but cant redeem

I got 4 £10 vouchers by trading in some of my Sky Mobile piggy bank data. I redeemed them immediately and they are showing as credit on my account yet when I go to purchase a movie the cost gets added to my monthly bill and is not taken from my credit

Can someone, or @sky explain what i need to do so that the cost comes from my credit and not added to my bill. Many thanks

Hi @Otley1

If you are using the credit for a buy and keep movie - just buy it online on Skystore and it will use up your credit (you can then send the movie to your Sky box)

if you are using it for a rental though - although you can use the credit toward a rental online, you CAN NOT send it to your Sky box in the same way

If you happen to have an LG TV with built in Skystore you could rent online and view on your LG

If however- you transact on your Sky box, your transaction will always just be added to your bill

That's just how things are set up
