You should see the little cast icon like you would on a You Tube video for example so do you not see this when you play the film on your device ?

What device are you using, on my PC the icon is in the bottom right of the screen once the film has loaded but on my iPad via the Sky Store app the icon is in the top right hand corner before your press the paly button.

Ipad air 2 and iphone 8, they both show the same thing only options that come up is done and pause thats it

Hi @Brett2k23

Have a look in your iPhone settings.

Scroll right down to Sky Store - and see if you have access to "local network" enabled

if it's not - just change it to ON - and then you will see the chromecast icon when you go back to Skystore

that should work fine (you don't need your mobile data to be on by the way)

Are you using the Sky Store app on them but the cast icon on my ipad is there top right hand corner of the same page that the big play button is on. If you don't see this then via both can you cast from the You Tube app ?

Not that long ago @caesarome I noticed that in the IOS settings for all my "castable" apps - the allow access to "local network" options had all defaulted to off.

I had to turn the setting back on for apps like Skystore and YouTube- and I wonder if this is what happened to @Brett2k23 ?

Your images haven't uploaded yet @Brett2k23 but are you saying you have given local network access to the Skystore app in IOS and still nothing

can you see your chromecast on your google home app ?

If still no good, certainly worth unplugging your chromecast from the mains for a minute and then back on - making sure both your iphone and chromecast are on the same network

On my iphone 11 plus- the casting icon is visible to choose on the earlier screen - the one where you select play

as @caesarome asks earlier - can you cast from YouTube ?

That is whaty I see, the icon is on the same page as the play button is before you start the film and not once you start it so are you 100% sure it is not on that page @Brett2k23 because the images you are posting it that of when you have pressed the play button.

I have a casting icon on YouTube but not Sky Store.

Nope, no airplay support is needed.
