Sky Store Offer Asda Rubbish

so the wife and I have tonight done the £5 for 2 pizzas, a drink and a movie voucher.

Only now we are home it seems you can't watch any of this on your set top box, sky, sky plus or sky q, you have to all gather around a phone or tablet and count yourself lucky??

Unless I am missing something here I am unable to find a way to watch this "free" movie credit I have.

If you use it to buy a movie rather than rent - then you can send it to your box

There are a few other options but all depends what devices you have

If you have a recent LG TV you can download the Skystore app on it - or if you have a Chromecast - or a recent Sony TV with built in Chromecast you can cast it to your TV

If you have a PC or laptop with an HDMI output you could plug that in to your TV

how do you send it to your box? I'm using a normal sky plus box.

The email link sending me to sky store on phone and I'm apparently credited £5.49 but can only see that on my phone?

and cheers but I don't want to trail wires and don't own a smart TV.

it seems like you should just be able to redeem it on your sky box to save all the hassle as well as a tablet device.

If you buy and keep a movie on a device (say a phone or an iPad ) it appears in your Skystore library on that device

Assuming that Skystore account is linked to your Sky Tv account - when you go to your device library, you should see on option "Send to Sky Box"

You may need to check this to ensure your box is compatible

All Sky Q boxes are compatible.

If you have a Sky+HD box:
Press ‘Services' on your Sky remote
Use the left/right arrows to highlight ‘Settings' and press Select
Use the right arrow to highlight ‘Systems Details'

If your Version Number begins with 4F31xxx, your Sky box is compatible."

I will try this, only just got round to it, fingers crossed it worked, just a shame it's not made clear in Asda and if they do mention it it's probably its the very small print. Would be nice if you just go to your box and type in the code.
