I got the Asda movie night in deal and I have my voucher code but how do I put it into my sky store on my tv ?

Please note that I am only guessing, but the title is Sky Store Online Movie Voucher. So are you sure that it will be available on your Sky Q box and not just online?

I have bought 2 pizza and movie deals in the last two weeks I have entered the receipt but not heard anything now one is out of date asked at pizza counter and was told this was happening to lots of customers

You can also choose to pay extra for a Buy & Keep or Sky Store Premiere movie. Check your spam box for emails

You might have got your answer from the replies given but if it helps to clarify - you can only spend these vouchers online or on the app

If you rent online you can't send the movie to your box. You have to view on a device (phone iPad PC etc

If you get a buy and keep movie online - you can send it to your Sky box and watch it there if you prefer

So basically the deal is useless ! I want to watch the film on my TV not sat watching an iPad , how do you do that as a family ! Waste of time !

Hi @Moons8888

A couple of options (neither ideal I know)

If you have a recent LG TV, most allow you to download the Skystore app on your TV

If you have a PC or laptop with an HDMI output - you can plug an HDMI cable from it in to your TV and watch that way

edit - or use the voucher to get a buy and keep movie and send it to your Sky box (if you have one)

Cheers Mike - unfortunately we have Samsung. ! I also tried to screen mirror which didn't work ! Just find it difficult to believe that the promo is badged as movie night in, when the family clearly can't watch it together when these restrictions are in place - specifically Wonder Woman which is rental only !

No - sadly screen mirroring doesn't work

Do you have Sky TV ? If so - maybe on this occasion it has to be a buy and keep - and send it to the box

If you don't have Sky TV then I can't disagree with you about "Movie Night"

yes we have Q HD etc , it's just frustrating that really there are only 2 decent films to watch WW - rental only or tenet which you can buy ! But we specifically thought that the deal would reduce the cost of watching WW.
oh well go £5 in account to get something for the app for the next plane ride , if we can ever travel again !

So you could use the credit toward the cost of buying Tenet on your iPad and select the "send to box" option and view it on your TV

Hello, my wife and I bought two of these vouchers. However, we are extremely dissapointed with this offer!!! As we managed to redeem 1 of the vouchers which was sent to the JUNK folder. The other has not been even redeemed. We have been online and found out, that this is a commen problem with your promotion. As we were extremely excited to gather as a family and spend some quality time together, during this very difficult period a.k.a. lockdown. We eagerly look forward to your reply as I hope we will receive some compensation for our ruined evening.

You have posted this on a "customer to customer" forum. No one on here knows who you are or your account details. Although a few Sky employees pop in from time to time - they can't see your details - so this isn't the place to ask for compensation from Sky

I'm not even sure this was a Sky promotion even though the "reward" was Sky Credit

but as a starting point if there is no contact details on the promotion email - you could try the Skystore team on this link to see if they can point you in the right direction

If you see my earlier post @GreenT0000 there are a few options which may help you view on your Sky box (if you have suitable devices)

Your other option is to use the voucher to get a "buy and keep" movie rather than a rental

You need to go online on a pc, tablet or mobile phone to register the code and order the film. Once you have done this the film will be in your library and you can watch it on any device including your tv. I think you have 30 days to start watching, then 48 hours to finish it for rentals.

Another way to watch on your tv - if you have a laptop then sign in to sky store using this. Then you can use a hdmi cable to connect your laptop to your tv! Simple!
