New Phone

I ordered two new phone contracts, both without needing a SIM as SIMs will be transferred from old phones. One phone was delivered within a week and the other seems to be waiting for a SIM, stating order confirmed - back order. Is there a way I can speed up the delivery of the phone since I do not need the sim card?

If there is a delay then it would be surprising if it is the sim holding it up so what phone did you order and what does it say here about it:

Back order suggests that Sky are awaiting stock, if so then the delivery cannot be sped up.

sky probably included a SIM card anyway - they did when I ordered my iPhone 14 even though one wasn't needed. As for the phone that's the latest which no doubt is popular so my reply still stands - awaiting stock which is coming soon.
I would ignore the sim delivery notice if it isn't needed.

As they are listed separately the sim is not holding up your iPhone. The delay on the iPhone is usual at the time of year as Apple can never keep up with the demand for them.

The colour is the issue.,

Apple themselves are currently quoting 3-4 weeks for that colour.
