Problems with sim card activation

I've received a number of new sims for me and the faily and I am having problems with the activation. I keep being redirected to a page stating the page is Restricted ads I am not the account holder.
I have gone through the process of linking my account etc but nothing seems to be working. Can someone help please?

Hi @handjo if you are not the account holder you will need to get the account holder to activate it or get them to call sky on 150.

Sorry @handjo your first post stated you weren't the account holder.

To try and get you some help I have escalated your post to the Sky Community Messaging Team.

Look out for a post on this thread from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a coloured speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread periodically.

I've been trying for 3 days to activate my sim in the end I've rang sky up we thought it had all gone through ok but it's still not activated:(

oh that's not good. I think I'll phone them as well. Nobody seems to be manning the chat.

Having same issue. Ordered a new phone with sky, turned up with no sim. Week later still no sim arrived. They sent a new sim out which arrived today and can't activate it, get same error about not being the account holder which I am.

You'll just have to call them. I managed to get it sorted a few days ago, but I had to call.
