Unexpected bill

Good afternoon, I upgrade my phone and was advised that my contract would go from £11 per calendar month to £38 per calendar month. I have received a bill through for £45.86 charging me for calls and text messages. What has changed and how can this be addressed? Many thanks Darren

What do your future bills show ?

Calls and texts are free with any data package so have this been refunded in anyway later on in the bill ?

Only to inclusive numbers - basically 01 / 02 / 03 and 07 mobiles. Most others are chargeable.
