Withholding PAC code

What does it take to leave Sky!? I deliberately chose Sky as my husband was loyal to them for years. My husband is now end of life and so it's vital that I retain my familiar number. Unfortunately my familiar number wouldn't send/receive calls or send/receive SMS messages. And therein lies the problem - Sky will only send the PAC code to the registered number (which isn't sending/receiving anything!). I've spoken to every department at Sky, I've been placated, lied to, had my calls dropped as it appeared too complicated, have had numerous discussions with their Retentions staff (who can't accept that I don't want to be retained by Sky - quite the opposite). I need my familiar number more than ever at this time, however Sky appears to only recognise its approved processes and has no regard whatsoever for we little people going through hell in a number of situations. Shame on you Sky - I wanted to remain loyal but loyalty works both ways.

Any suggestions to simply obtain my PAC code to transfer to a carrier whereby my familiar number works would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Is WiFi calling an option on the phone as it might be of the device was from Sky.
