    <description>&lt;P&gt;...although a bit of Googling suggests you might not be alone.&amp;nbsp; (But there doesn't appear to be any public acknowledgement from Google of a known fault).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Interestingly, the problem seems to have been triggered by a software update but possibly remains in later versions.&amp;nbsp; Issues could be heat related where certain chips are disabled with moderate heat - reports of people putting them in freezers to get them to work!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Have a Google yourself - most of the advice seems to be to contact Google themselves about it.&amp;nbsp; However, your legal route would be via the retailer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But if you cannot convince Sky to repair/replace then your legal options always remain.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>My phone wont connect to wifi or Bluetooth, sky aren't going to fix it or google, legal consumer right state that in scotland I have 5 years that the device can be repaired due to a known hardware fault. How do I get sky to repair this phone?</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm assuming it's out of warranty?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;AIUI it's the same CRA 2015 as per England.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The 5 years is the limitation period to bring a claim in Scotland (6 years in England).&amp;nbsp; It does not give an automatic right to repair.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So, after 6 months, you would have to show the fault was present at the time of purchase which is notoriously difficult to do.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>I think it will be out off warranty as the phone is jsut 2 years old now. I have googled all the repairs to do myself and nothing has worked. Going through so much data and costing a fortune!</description>

&lt;P&gt;I suspect that's 'known' as in publicly acknowledged by the manufacturer or supplier, which as noted above is almost never the case unless they've lost or settled a class action.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
