What is the point in adding security to a SiM card by using a "PiN" - if a thief can just bypass it by using "00000000".

Please advise?

@G+e+l Has your sim card been stolen?

I'm fairly sure you can change the sim pin when you get it

To add or remove a SIM PIN:

Go to Device Support and select your device make and model.
Search for ‘SIM PIN’.

Hi @G+e+l you aren't talking to sky CS here just fellow customers. This has been raised before with no response from sky. Having a standard PUK using the digits you have mentioned does seem pretty pointless. On other networks I have used you are provided with a PUK specific to you.

As your thread title is "THEFT OF SiM CARD" it's natural to assume your SIM card has been stolen which you haven't confirmed either way. Perhaps a different title could have avoided any confusion.
