It may disclose a nearby mast issue. In case you aren't aware Sky don't own or maintain any mobile masts so if there is an issue you and others in the area will be relying on a third party fix.

I cannot receive calls or make calls it states callers no, not recognised, but can get calls on ehats app.?

I've been in France and can receive calls - except for ones from Sky 'back office' (tech) team, when I'd been desperately trying to get a replacement sim for a stolen phone and was left in France without my phone number of 20 years for 6 weeks (no business calls, no whatsapp, no banking apps etc etc)!!

Sky would have only sent a replacement SIM card to the account address in the UK or Ireland, not wherever you were in France.

Thanks Daniel, understand this, however I wanted an e-sim at least. Of course, the code to get the e-sim goes to your stolen phone. 6 weeks of almost daily calls and emails to get on with business - being passed from pillar to post from customer service, hung up on, told to purchase another sim number to receive the code, which didn't work, my account wouldn't work either, I had the 'loyalty team' many times as I've been with Sky 11 years, to no use. As mentioned, eventually after many ignored emails for a deadlock letter (which of course was a little early) and PAC code to get a new plan with another provider, I had the back office team calling me and hanging up after one ring, or it going to vm when I answered it. Understand perhaps my phone had some issue (though the AI spam callers could get through that must have been leaked through Sky as it was the new number Sky provided!) and my partner could get through from an Oz phone. If for some bizarre reason, Sky themselves could not get through to a Sky number in France, why when I was in desperate times (got back yesterday) would they not let me be put through to this office when I called - it's not policy, no inbound calls! It was beyond the most horredous experience to have NO options to get your own number back which it's essential to me, for 6 weeks. Is this normal for all providers? Desperate to get one I can trust to work out a solution if I lose or have a phone stolen again when abroad. Advice would be much appreciated on any providers as I'm looking now.

I have now Ben without a phone that I can call or receive on for three days now it is unacceptable when you have to pay your bills on time. My daughter is nine months pregnant and due to have a baby any minute she cannot call me to let me know that everything is okay all that she's gone into labour I am fretting so much. How long is this gonna take before it is resolved

We cannot answer that. As stated above Sky don't own or maintain any mobile masts so you and others will be relying on a third party fix.

If anyone has an Andriod phone try this:

On Android, find the 'Sky Menu' app.
- Select 'Roaming'
- Ensure both 'Automatic' and 'Sky Settings' have '>' in front of them.
