I am looking to move to sky mobile but still have 8 months left on my contract. Does sky buy out the old contract if you move to them?

Sky doesn't buy any contracts out but for TV and Broadband you can claim switching credit if you previous provider has charged you exit fees.

As customers we can not answer that question as you will only find out when the credit checks are taken when you place an order for a phone.
