my phone is continuiously ringing and texting me say why have i rung them who is ringing me i can not use the phone i think i have been hacked i have had to take the sim card out

You have not been hacked as what is happening is someone out there is making calls but is making it look like their calls is coming from your number. They usually stop after a while so in the meantime you could try the "block unknown numbers" option if this is available on your phone.

That's really not a thing. As @caesarome indicates, your number has been being 'spoofed'.
