Yes, Sky/O2 still support 2G.

Hi,

I am looking for a sim contract for my grandmother. She is not very good with IT and therefore has an "old people" phone which only does texts and calls and is 2G.
Are sky SIM cards compatible with 2G phones? I am not bothered if the contract includes data that she won't use as long as it allows her to make phone calls.

Thanks

Sky sims use the O2 network so unless you can try a Sky sim in it then I'm not sure we can say for sure if it will work or not.

What network is her current sim with ?

Hi, her current sim is EE but I'm trying to find her a contract that is as cheap as possible seen as she doesn't actually use the data but nowhere seems to offer unlimited calls without data
