E-Sim not accepting messaging after activation

I have just purchased my wife an Apple Iphone air and have converted her existing physical sim to an e-sim via the app.

Settings have been downloaded, but she cannot receive any test messages to the device, she can send but not receive?

She can also make and receive calls.

Has anyone else had this issue and how did you resolve?

Hi @JosephtheDaddy you could try deleting the Esim and reinstalling it.

will have a go at that when it has updated the phone software.

Wife is worried as she is going top Spain tomorrow.

Her old phone with the physical sim is still receving the messages though?

Well, tried that and no joy.

Well, dont ask me how, but I have resolved the issue.

Uninstalled e-sim, rebooted and re-installed e-sim - same issue

Then uninstalled network settings, rebooted and then reinstalled them. Was originally still the same.

15 minutes later messages came through, no issues reported with any of the masts etc nearby as outgoing messages were sent.
