PiggyBank balance reducing although I am not using it

I checked my PiggyBank balance today and noticed that every month since March 2026, large amounts (18GB+) are coming out of my balance each month even though I have not transferred any of the balance to my account. I had around 228.62 GB and this has now gone down to 179.64GB. See photo below.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Is anyone in the SkyMobile team able to assist with this?

Stored data now 'expires' after 12 months and is removed from the Piggybank balance.

This might have happened as unused data only remains in the piggybank for 12 months before it is automatically removed so going by those amounts you are clearly on to higher data plan for your needs each month.

Customers were made aware of this change in the April 2024 price change letters/emails but it didn't come into effect until the summer of 2025 which may be why quite a few customers forgot it was going to happen.
