Changing O2 Sim to sky mobile Sim

Is changing the Sim all I have to do?

How do I keep my phone number the same as years ago you had to get a puck code from your airtime supplier to transfer your number to your next supplier?

Do your contacts transfer over or are they simply in the phone?

If you could give answers to any of these questions, I would appreciate it,

You will need to get a pac code from O2 and when you have activated your Sky sim then give Sky the pac code and your number should be moved to Sky within the next few working days.

I would like to delete this post, but it is not possible,

With plenty of views but no replies I managed to call sky mobile, and the operator has been most helpful and everything is now going to plan and I should be able to swap my Sim cards on Monday.
