my child has a sky sim and is going away we school i dont really understand the data roaming options so not sure if someone can help me wpuld i just make sure her data roaming is on or do i need to pay for it ?

In Spain the £2 per day charge to access the UK calls/texts/data allowance will automatically apply.

For Spain it should cost her/you £2 for each 24 hours use of the home allowance.

You need to ensure roaming and mobile data are turned on in the phone settings and it will kick in when she sends a text, makes a call or uses a small amount of data. Set any spend cap to cover the total number of days she is there. Remember that calls to local numbers are charged extra at international rates and there is now a limit on data use of 25GB per billing period, after which Sky can charge an extra £2.50 per GB or even suspend her useage due to overuse.
