This can happen and does happen on any network as what has happened is someone out their making calls and making it look like they are coming from the number your Dads has. Turning it off for now is a good idea. They usually do stop after a while but should they contin ue and he has had the sim for 12 months or more then get the account holder to call Sky on 150 to ask that the number is cancelled and that another sim with a different number is sent out to him.

You might want to also look at his call settings to block calls from unknown numbers as this should stop the phone from ringing and should only go off is the caller is in his phone book, the side affect to this is that places like Doctord and Hospitals might not get through either.

My dad is receiving constant calls from people saying he has called them and they missed his call. I called sky and they had assured me someone would call me back but they haven't. I've turned the phone off because it's non stop, he had over 100 calls come through in 30 minutes and people are texting etc.

Has this happened to anyone else? I'm think that his number must have been cloned and us calling thousands of people given the number of people who've called back.

Not cloned, spoofed.

Nothing Sky can do to stop it.

The scammers usually move on after a while.
