I've recently got my iphone17 dud the normal transfer from my iPhone 16 but now I have no phone service it only works on wifi can i cant make calls recieve calls or text message only what's app when I'm connected to wifi anyone help I've tried retrieving network connections but sending info to my number when I can't get texts

Did you move SIM from old to new phone?

Yes I moved sim from 16 to 17

Try refreshing the network settings so go Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Then go to Settings - Phone - My Number and change it if it is wrong, then reboot the phone. You will need to set up your Wifi connection again.
