My 21yr old daughter wants to take out a contract in her own name. Her current device is paid for but I am still paying for her SIM. She wants to stay with Sky and keep her mobile number. How do I cancel her current SIM and transfer her current mobile number to the new SIM she will pay for. Apologies if this doesn't make sense.

It's a question asked frequently.

In short, it's not easy. You cannot transfer numbers across accounts and you can't use a PAC code within a network.

The workaround is to transfer the number out (to a PAYG) and then back to a newly activated SIM/dataplan.
