I've just had someone call me from 0800 number asking me about insurance cover for my phone and another 2 devices. I gave them my bank account number and now I'm terrified I've been scammed

Could it be a call from Sky Protect as they do mobile phone insurance so have you Goolged the number they called you on to see if it does go back to them ?

Sky Protect is operated by Domestic and General Insurance, and they do have an annoying tendency to state they are ringing from Sky when technically they aren't.

I looked on a few phone look up sites and got mixed answers. One said it was Sky Protect others said they felt it was a scam
