You can not easily move a number between two Sky sims so the only way to do this is to uswe a pac code to move it to a PSYG network then get another pac code from that network to move it back to the new Sky sim.

Hi, I already have a Sky sim but ordered a new one with a new plan. For some reason I can't activate it. I've tried activating it using a PAC code because I want to keep my old number, but it wont accept it because its already Sky sim. So, I've tried activating it without the PAC and it still wont activate. FYI This new sim didnt come with a new number.

A pac code is only used from moving a number between two different networks so it is not used to activate a sim.

Why can't you activate it, what is happening ?

The new sim will have a new number attached to it once you activated it.

Hi @Holly1968 you can't do what you are trying to do. If you order a new sim then that will come with a new number and plan. You can't port your old number using a PAC from one sky sim to another. Looks like you have ordered a replacement sim, that will have your old number on it and old plan.

You would need to order a new sim/plan with the plan you want @Holly1968 then activate it when it arrives. You then port your old number to a different network on PAYG then port it back to the new sim. Alternatively use your old sim and choose one of the plan options in your account.
