Changes to mobile charges

Why have sky sent email about increasing charges for mobile services from 14 Feb, my bill is £6.00 per month.

I phoned to day with in the 30day termination period as the information in the app did not match what the email said.

After call with CS was offered a reduced, yes REDUCED charge of £5.00 per month from 1st Feb. But they insisted they ring me back on 1st Feb why.

Will be keeping a close eye on what I get charged, as i donot trust foreign call centres.

has anyone else had charge reduced.

I want To leave sky due to this price increase with my contract

am I right I am legally able to do this with our early termination charges

If you've received the official email / letter from Sky it explains that you can cancel within 30 days if you wish and gives a phone number to call within the 30 days. I have received my email which includes...

We hope you'll continue to enjoy our services, but if you're unhappy with these changes, you can adjust your data plan anytime using Mix in the MySky app. Alternatively, you can visit (website) or call us on (phone number) to discuss or cancel your subscription. If you're within your minimum contract period, call us within 30 days of getting this email to avoid early termination charges. Unless you tell us otherwise, your Sky Mobile subscription will continue as normal.

There is a specific number on the correspondence.
