&lt;P&gt;It sounds like you may have failed one of the required credit check(s). For a sim deal it’s just a soft credit check, for a device there’s also an enhanced check. See this link for Skys guidance ~ &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.sky.com/help/articles/credit-checks-sky-mobile" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.sky.com/help/articles/credit-checks-sky-mobile&lt;/A&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Monday was the 22nd not the 21st.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Once you've contacted Sky the refund should be processed in 3-5&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG style="font-family: inherit; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: transparent; -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;"&gt;working days&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; so with the bank holidays you are possibly looking at between Monday 29th and Wednesday 31st.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

The reason I ask is that once actioned a refund usually takes between 3 and 5 working days which given the time of year could mean it takes longer due to the bank holidays.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;What did Sky say when you called on Tuesday? If&amp;nbsp;you have failed one of the required credit check(s) upfront payment you’ve made should normally be refunded after about 14 days but recent posts suggest it’s taking a bit longer. You do need to call to chase this up.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
