My son has opened his s10 today which i ordered with esim but turns out sky is selling this and it isn't esim compatible and can't be opened to add a sim. Will this have to be returned and another tablet purchased

If it doesn't take a physical sim either then you will either have to use a Wifi connection only or you can return it but only if you have had it for 31 days or less and to do this you would have to contact Sky to start the return process.

Does it have a physical SIM tray? If so, call Sky and ask for a SIM.

If not, then use an eSIM from a different provider?

Hi @Lianes the S10 tablets that sky sell are 5G compatible so they will take a physical sim. Call sky and request a physical sim be sent out or order one from sky.com.
