Can I upgrade my sim contracts seen I can get 10gb @ £5 when logging in to the app or do I need to cancel or the offer? As out of contract now, thank you

@candyce

The 10GB for £5 offer will involve a new sim so and that will mean a new mobile number so if you are happy with this then you can order it and once activated give the required notice of 31 days to cancel the one you have.

There is no direct way to move your current number to the new Sky sim as you would need to move it via a pac to a PAYG network then back again to the new Sky sim and to do this the sim must not be cancelled.

You can only apply the available options on your account to the SIM.

The offers you are seeing are for additional dataplans with new phone numbers.

You can always call Sky and negotiate but you may not get offers as good as new ones.

There is a protracted workaround as described in the previous post by @caesarome
