I've just set up my new iPhone 17 pro but I can't send a normal text. How do I change that

I can send iMessages but not normal ones

Just says message wasn't delivered and I get the red ! Mark next to it. I've try resting phone. Checking network is all on ect.

Have you checked settings, messages, send as text message is toggled on @Chloe295 ?

Yes I have all green and I've turned it off and on again to see if that helps
