My daughter has sky mobile (which I pay for) if I get a sim for me off her account will we share the data or will I need to pay for 2 data plans?

You can only transfer data from the Piggybank to SIMs with active dataplans within the same account. (So, yes, 2 dataplans would have to be paid for)

Each sim has to have it's own data plan but if they are on the same account then they will both get access to the same piggybank.
