Joint or linked mobile accounts

My partner & myself Plan to join sky mobile soon.

We are currently with o2 but found a better plan on confused.com

What's the process to have our numbers linked to the same account, with just one ( the same) email address ? Should we both join sky mobile first THEN link the accounts.

Hopefully it's easy.

Also hope switching from O2 to skyonike will be easy and keep our current phone numbers.

@KeithJayne You both can't join under seperate accounts, only one person must sign up and purchase the sim plans under that one account.

So, if my partner and myself leave O2 then I can join sky, will sky let me add my SIM and my partners SIM to one ( my ) account

Such that my account will have 2 Sims, mine and my partners ?

Not sure how that would work going through confused.com ,???

Had hoped I could link the two Sims to one sky account

Hi you can have up to 7 sims all with different numbers on a sky mobile account.

Hi @KeithJayne yes you can have up to 7 sims on one account but you can't link 2 mobile accounts. Having sims on one account allows both sims to share the account piggybank for topping up data if required.

Hi @KeithJayne you need to set up one sky account, order two sims on that account (will have new numbers) and activate them, get PAC codes for both sims from your current provider, gives PAC to sky and the next working day your numbers will transfer to sky.

Not sure what you mean @KeithJayne ? You set an account in your name, you add two sims from sky to that account, you name them eg Tom for the first and Harry for the second. If you both have sims that you want to use those numbers when coming to sky you get PAC from your current provider(s) and give those codes to sky and next working day those numbers replace the new sky numbers.

That may not work, how can I add a Non Sky SIM to my account, if it's from a sky account, that will be separate to my account.

Anyway it's all sorted, Sky agreed a SIM only deal 10GB £5 month for a 2 year deal, 1 year contract, both Sims named and in the same sky mobile account.

YES you advised me to do that, but I was trying to the confused com deal... Which was compyignired really. Sky prices are much higher than price comparison site deals, but I was lucking through perseverance I got a good deal, the advice I have to admit wasn't helpful in my situation
