Can I purchase a sim free device via Sky mobile?

I am with Vodafone and still on contract so want to keep my number etc but want the new iphone 17 max - can you buy from sky without having a plan and sim with them? Just put my vodafone sim into a new phone?

Devices from Sky are not networked locked so you can use your Vodaphone SIM.

You do not need to activate a dataplan (If you can't check out without selecting one). You won't be charged unless you activate it.

@theraygoddard You can purchase a phone only but sometimes the system won't allow you to without picking a data plan

so the way round is to purchase the cheapest data plan possible and not activate the sim when it arrives leaving you free to put the Vodafone one in
