topic No mobile signal in Sky Mobile

Since yesterday I have had no mobile signal in the area I am. Having checked the online help it advises a tower has been removed and an update is expected in January 2026. That does not seem like a suitable amount of time to be without a mobile signal.

area is HX78**

@Curiousbeever
Sky don't own or maintain any mobile phone masts so if it was 'removed' it was done by a third party. If that's correct then it's beyond Skys control. It seems strange for a mast to be removed without an alternative source being available.

Hi @Curiousbeever as mentioned that does seem very strange. You may consider putting in a formal complaint.

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/how-to-make-a-complaint

in the meantime you could try setting up WiFi calling so you can still use your phone at home ?

The wording is "We have removed a mast" so not sure what to think.
