Hi @FlaviaMetcalf1 you can cancel an order by calling sky or refusing delivery when DPD try to deliver it. You can place an order elsewhere if you wish and just refuse delivery when the one from sky eventually arrives.

Mrs

I placed an order for a new phone with Sky as mine had suddenly stopped charing altogether. This was just under two weeks ago! I have not had a single form of correspondence from Sky. The status when I login is 'coming soon'. It has not changed since I placed the order on the 8th of October.

I do not have a working phone, so I have had to borrow my husband's numerous times to call Sky. I have not been able to get through to speak to a person. I have tried the chat line, and I get responded from bots on there too.

Frankly my experience shows the utter disdain Sky have for their customers! There was no shortage of people available to cold call me to renew my contract with Sky when it came to an end!

My next best option is to leave scathing reviews on sites like Trust Pilot at this point.

@FlaviaMetcalf1
You aren’t communicating with Sky by posting on here. This is a customer ➡️ customer discussion forum where we try to help other Sky customers. Threatening to leave poor reviews is pointless here.

As we’re customers here we have no insight into current stock levels or any delivery timescales. The most up to date information (after credit checks are complete) on your particular order should become available at:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/track-sky-order

When your order is ready you should get an email from Sky, and then another from the courier (in the UK that’s usually DPD) which should have details of your 1 hour delivery time slot.

Any orders for an iPhone 17 are likely to be delayed further due to the usual supply and demand issues. This happens every year when a new iPhone is launched.

Thank you for your response.

Sky should make it clear efore you place an order for a speciic product that they have no stock, plus give an indicstion of how long the wait is. The should also make it possile to cancel an order within the app if there isn't going to e anyone available yo pick up calls. Surely this is not inline with Consumer Rights.

I have been left without a phone for two weeks and counting.
