    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hey everyone,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I just wanted to share a frustrating situation I’ve been dealing with regarding an &lt;STRONG&gt;iPhone 17 Pro Max order with &lt;FONT color="#FF0000"&gt;&lt;U&gt;Sky Ireland&lt;/U&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;FONT color="#FF0000"&gt;&lt;U&gt;.&lt;/U&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;On &lt;STRONG&gt;14 September 2025&lt;/STRONG&gt;, I placed an order for &lt;STRONG&gt;two iPhone 17 Pro Max devices&lt;/STRONG&gt; (Orange and Silver). I paid an amount&lt;STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;upfront for each phone,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;and received an official &lt;STRONG&gt;confirmation email&lt;/STRONG&gt; from Sky saying:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;“&lt;STRONG&gt;Great news – soon you'll be up and running with Sky Mobile. We've arranged to deliver your Sky Mobile products.&lt;/STRONG&gt;..”&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The &lt;STRONG&gt;delivery date was &lt;FONT color="#FF0000"&gt;3 October &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;FONT color="#FF0000"&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000000"&gt;when order has been made&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;FONT color="#FF0000"&gt;,&lt;/FONT&gt;but I never received any updates or tracking information.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;After several calls to Sky over the past weeks (&lt;STRONG&gt;call centers in India&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;, and the agents are &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;clearly unprepared&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;, giving &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;confusing or inconsistent information, &lt;/STRONG&gt;o&lt;SPAN&gt;n top of that, &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;it’s extremely hard to understand them&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; due to poor line quality and strong accents, which just adds to the frustration when you’re trying to solve a problem&lt;/SPAN&gt;), then yesterday when checking the Sky app to see if there are any update, I saw that there's two orders (correctly) but just one of them with the iphone (silver), the another one just desappeared and the e-sim was the just thing they're showing me (it happened around 3 days ago, but I just tought it was some error as normal they have). Then I call again to understand what's going on and I was told that &lt;STRONG&gt;one of my orders (the Orange iPhone)&lt;/STRONG&gt; had been &lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;FONT color="#FF0000"&gt;&lt;U&gt;"cancelled down through the system”&lt;/U&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;FONT color="#FF0000"&gt;&lt;U&gt; because it was stuck and showing &lt;STRONG&gt;no stock available&lt;/STRONG&gt;."&lt;/U&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;U&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":pouting_face:"&gt;😡&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/U&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;he most &lt;STRONG&gt;deplorable part&lt;/STRONG&gt; of this whole situation was what happened during my last call with Sky.&lt;BR /&gt;The agent told me that my previous order had been cancelled, but that if I &lt;STRONG&gt;placed a new order&lt;/STRONG&gt;, I would &lt;STRONG&gt;receive the phone within 10 days&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I asked her very clearly:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;P&gt;“If I place a new order for the **exact same phone – iPhone 17 Pro Max Orange 256GB – will I actually receive it within 10 days?”&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;P&gt;She confidently said &lt;STRONG&gt;“Yes”&lt;/STRONG&gt;, so I agreed to go ahead with the new order.&lt;BR /&gt;Then she put me &lt;STRONG&gt;on hold for a few minutes&lt;/STRONG&gt;, came back, and said:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;P&gt;“Sir, unfortunately, we won’t be able to place the order because the phone is out of stock.”&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;P&gt;It was absolutely absurd,&amp;nbsp; the level of misinformation and lack of coordination within Sky’s customer service is unbelievable.&lt;BR /&gt;At that point, I was honestly &lt;STRONG&gt;speechless,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;because if I said what I was thinking, it would have probably come out as &lt;STRONG&gt;rude or aggressive&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;So I just &lt;STRONG&gt;ended the call in silence&lt;/STRONG&gt;. I know it wasn’t the agent’s fault personally, but the &lt;STRONG&gt;lack of proper training and preparation&lt;/STRONG&gt; just makes the whole experience even worse.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Here’s the frustrating part (or the most one):&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;I &lt;STRONG&gt;never received any email or notice&lt;/STRONG&gt; about this cancellation (they said that it was a system error the reason I've no communication promptly, and I still waiting for the cancellation);&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sky &lt;STRONG&gt;cancelled it automatically&lt;/STRONG&gt;, without even asking if I wanted to wait;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;The &lt;STRONG&gt;other order (the Silver one)&lt;/STRONG&gt; is still active, but also &lt;STRONG&gt;on back order with no delivery date&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;Finally, without giving me any options, they solved by themselves tolding me that will give a refund in 14 days of the amount paid for the 17PM Orange.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Honestly, I’m disappointed with how Sky handled this,&amp;nbsp; no communication, no clear timeline, and no accountability.&lt;BR /&gt;Has anyone else experienced something similar with &lt;STRONG&gt;Sky Mobile pre-orders&lt;/STRONG&gt; or &lt;STRONG&gt;back orders&lt;/STRONG&gt; recently?&lt;BR /&gt;Any advice on how to push them for an actual resolution ? Like, if u had to wait a bit more, that's fine.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Tried to order 17 pro, having waited patiently for my turn in a queue 10,000+&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Went through pages of agreements etc.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Entered credit card details, confirmed order... then the site hung... I waited &amp;amp; waited but nothing.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;then it reverted back to the beginning so I'm a few thousand back in the queue again and have to wait my turn.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;I'll buy my new phone elsewhere, I have better things to do than guess if Sky's site is going to graciously allow me to pay them money while repeatedly having to input my credit card details.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Frustrating but I've only lost my time, Sky have lost my order.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

If you contact Sky they would be able to confirm that’s the reason your order was cancelled but not why you failed the credit check in the first place as they are not allowed to view your credit record.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any upfront payment you’ve made should be refunded after about 14 days but recent posts suggest it’s taking a bit longer in which case you’ll need to call Sky to chase it up.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I have multiple other accounts: TV &amp;amp; broadband with Sky, as well as two other mobile phone contracts. I've never been rejected for any credit before.
