Phone package not using data

I am wanting to get a phone contract with you but already have a different data plan - is it possible for someone else to use the data plan I get with the phone or is it only for use on the new phone I get. Is it possible to pay for the data with the phone plan but not activate it in the phone?

Hi @Jessicajohnson you can have up to 7 sim/data plans on your account and these can be used in any phones you want. Bear in mind that some features (eg WiFi calling) won't work on phones not purchased from sky.

The data plan can be used with any other unlocked phone.

Once the sim has been activated then you start paying for it so if you don't want to use it in a phone then if you do not activate it then it will be cancelled.
