I recently spent some time in the Seychelles and did not activate roaming and did not receive any calls (where the phone rang)

During my stay (which included a week with no coverage) I received the 759 notifications stating I had six voicemails.

I have just received my monthly bill and have been charged £9.50 for a collection of calls that seem to tie up with the numbers and durations of the voice messages, which I only checked on my return home.

Surely this cannot be correct? The person calls, it goes straight to voicemail as I am abroad yet I still get charged for the incoming message?
