How to cancel current data plan

I am due to upgrade my phone but want a new SIM card so I can take advantage of the half price data plans. How do ai cancel my current data plan on my current SIM?

Also can I transfer my number to a new SIM card?

Hi @Sazzzzz you need to call sky on 150 to cancel a sim (provided you have had it more than 12 months). Don't cancel before ordering a new sim as if it's the only one on your account you could lose your piggybank. It's not possible to port from one sky sim to another so to keep your number either just use your old sim/plan or you need to port your old number to a different network on PAYG (this would also cancel the current sim) then port back onto the new sim.

I'm due an upgrade and have a 50GB plan running with unlimited calls and texts but my new handset will be a e sim how do I cancel my one I'm on just now thanks x

Hi @Smurfit+kappa if you order a new sim that will have a new number, if the new phone is esim only (not many are) then you can convert your current physical sim to an esim once you get it. What phone are you getting ?
