Sky customer service is so utterly woeful now it's a joke. I was overseas on a call back to UK for 90 mins last week on a family holiday and no one in any of the overseas call centres I was put through could resolve the issue I had. It's an absolute disgrace and I'd go as far as to say a national embarrassment. Got back from holiday yesterday and currently been on hold for 20 minutes and spoken to personnel in both countries that host their CS and none know what they are doing - terribly polite but ultimately ineffectual. I've been sitting here for almost 30 mins asking to be put through to the Cardiff.

All calls go through to the next available agent wherever they may be based. There's no guarantee you'll get to someone in the UK let alone Cardiff (if there is a call centre in Cardiff).

You haven't said what the issue is you're calling about.

Typically these are just people reading off a script and following a diagnostic process.

They are paid minimum wage or not far off it, aside from their own learned experience most of them haven't the foggiest about any technicalities.

What evers got you incensed, do share I'm 30 mins away from Cardiff so I could be the ideal person to help.
