Hello,

I am a long time Sky Mobile user with 4 mobile phones on contract with Sky. I am just about to order an Apple Watch Ultra 3 when it is announced to Tuesday.

I know that Sky currently does not support eSims in Apple watches, but wondering if anyone has heard of an update since "perhaps coming Summer 2025".

I am happy with Sky mobile, but don't want this to force me away. I know I can tether to my phone and use my own data plan, but would like the flexibility of having my watch be able to access data without my phone.

Hi @Euanmc1977 Sky have not issued any updates on any timescale for the introduction of esims for smart watches.

I've been asking about this for years! We have 4 mobile phones with Sky mobile, and I'll be getting an Apple Watch Ultra myself in the next month or so.

Sky are clearly not in a hurry or eager to solve this problem, so I'll sadly need to move elsewhere as well.

One can only assume O2 are imposing this limitation as Sky use their network.

A big shame as everything else works well.

I couldn't agree more. I will be moving away from them next time my contract is up for renewal so that I can purchase an Ultra.

I have just bought my Ultra 3 and didnt know about Sky's Mobile network lack of support for Apple...Disappointed and will also need to leave Sky Mobile, to achieve full functionality of my watch...Not good SKy, but then I don't supppose they monitor this forum...😞
