Please can you check my mobile package and confirm if I go abroad to menorca will I be charged more to make calls and send texts to UK mobile numbers at home

Yes, you'll be charged £2 per 24 hours to activate the Roaming Passport.

You aren't contacting Sky Customer Services on here. This is a customer led discussion forum where Sky customers are available to try to help other customers.

For Spain (and associated islands) it should cost you £2 for each 24 hours use of your home allowance. You need to ensure roaming and mobile data are turned on in your phone settings and it will kick in when you send a text, make a call or use a small amount of data. Set any spend cap to cover the tota number of days you are there. Remember that calls to local numbers are charged extra at international rates.

There is now a fair usage policy. Roaming using Roaming Passport Plus is now limited to 25GB per billing period then it's £2.50per GB.

When you roam using our Roaming Passport Plus, we consider that up to 25GB per billing period is a reasonable amount of data to use. If you exceed this amount, we'll assume that you're no longer using data in the way expected of a reasonable customer for periodic travel.

The daily £2 charge allows you to make calls and send texts to UK mobiles and landlines. Calls to local numbers while you are there will be charged at international rates.
