Prank calls all hours..i haven't given anyone the number.

So I have got a sky contact sim to use in a twin sim phone for data. Me and my wife like to go camping and are on the same network 3. We quickly found out that we both had no network while out in the middle of a field. I came up with a good idea to use the second sim card slot in my phone with a different network. Unfortunately the number (I haven't given to anyone) has constant prank calls. Also spam texts.

All mobile numbers are recycled so when cancelled the just go back into a large pool of them so from you have said the chances are is that someone somewhere has had that number before you. If you have been paying for it for 12 months or more then you can call Sky on 150 to cancel it and if you want to order a number one as you would have to be pretty unlucky to have it happen again with a different number.

They will cancel that sim if you have been paying for it for 12 months or more and if you want order you another one that will come with a different number.

I've had it two months. I thought it was coming for my normal number.

Stupid me has just worked out my phone has a 1 or 2 infront of it telling what sim it is.

It might still be worth speaking to them about this to see what they say as they might still let you cancel it and thus reorder another one.
