no SOS satellite on my IPhone 13=4

got my brand new Apple IPhone 14 today and the feature that I wanted and only bought the phone for was the abillity to contact emergency services over satellite comunication, but the option is now were to be seen on the phone any help please.

Hi @Nick789uk I believe that option only appears when there is no mobile signal available via the normal mast system.

This feature is free for two years with the activation of a new iPhone"

if you open your control centre and look at the very right hand side there are 4 options, tap on the bottom one the satellite is shown at the bottom.

The satellite only shows when no Wi-Fi or Phone service is available.

You can test the satellite by going into settings, Emergency SOS, and scrolling to the bottom where 'Try Demo' should show.

Try checking for iOS updates - latest is 18.6.
