Extend ring duration

U have an iPhone 16 and when receiving calls, it only rings 3 times then goes to voicemail. How do I extend the ringtone before time. I've tried 61*mynumber*11*30# and it comes up with an error. Help please?

It looks like it isn't your number that you enter as shown here under voicemail settings:

I used the correct message format to extend ring time to ,30 secs and it took it without error. Tested it but still goes to voicemail after 3 rings!

The solution (for me) was this:

**61*voicemailnumber**30#
THEN restart phone for change to take effect. My phone now rings for 39 seconds before going to VM.
