@Jospiers64 Please see the info here Account Takeover | Sky Help | Sky.com | Sky Help | Sky.com

However sadly it sounds like you've given the scammers your device, without Sky getting this back it's probable you'll now be liable for the payments.

This is what you should hve done:

If you receive an unexpected parcel from Sky

Get in touch with Sky customer services team immediately. They can give advice on what to do. Don’t send the parcel anywhere except their returns address.

They’ll give you a pre-paid returns packaging to send the parcel back to them.

Fraudsters might contact you and try to convince you to send the parcel to a false address where they can get the devices they’ve ordered from your account. Ignore any requests to send the parcel to an address that isn’t Skys returns address. Here’s the details:

Sky Mobile
Unipart Group Limited
Unit 12
Hamilton Way
Bermuda Park
Nuneaton
CV10-7RL

Scam

I am the victim of a scam. I was called by someone called Sam from Sky Care offering me 30% off my bills. The long n short of it is that they have ordered an Apple IPad on my Sky account and now have it in their possession. I need to report this but can't find a phone number to call on the Sky Website. Can anyone help?

So a device you haven't ordered has been delivered to your address, then you've been contacted to say it's been delivered in error and you've either handed it over to a courier or posted it to address the caller has given you, is that correct?

See this link about these scams
