What is the credit check done by sky?

If you have failed the credit check then this will be something you need to look into yourself. You could sign up on a free months trial at somewhere like Experian which will give you access to your credit record. If you do this remember to cancel before the free month finishes.

Any idea if background checks? Is that mean criminal record?

Neither Sky nor any other provider will have access to a prospective customer's criminal record history. Only law enforcement can access that.

Thank you, but what else background check would relate to? I couldn't think of I have a bad record or credit check
