I just arrived in Guernsey but I got a text from Skye saying Welcome to France and international costs will be charged. Has anyone experienced this?

A good few years ago (pre-roaming charges) I regularly picked up French networks when in Jersey. Quite likely when you're so close to the French coast.

Hi @Criz turn off automatic network selection in your phone settings then make sure you choose a local network from the list that appears. That should prevent further roaming charges.
